When we launched Nifty250, we also launched Social Printing – which at the time was the only service in South Africa which offered live hashtag printing at events. At the end of last year we stopped doing events, but were still getting so many requests from brands that we have decided to start offering our social printing service again, albeit on a smaller scale.
Say hello to our new magical white boxes, designed by Lucas, we’ve been able to make them super portable and are able to set it all up in under 15 minutes. For big branded events we’ll have multiple boxes on stand by, but we also wanted to be able to make the service really affordable so that we can be at all your special occasions, from weddings, engagement parties to bar mitzvahs.
How social printing works, basically these days all events have hashtags, which brands use to track online engagement, we track the specific hashtag and are able to live print beautifully branded polaroids of the photographs your guests are uploading (and hashtagging) to Instagram, so they can take them home as a little keepsake. Not only is it a great extra for the guests, but it’s great for brands, as when people realise they get tangible copies of their photographs, they generally upload more, so that’s more online engagement, and these normally then land up on their fridge, or at their desk, a rather nifty bit of branding!
Last year we did over 70 events for brands including Cotton On, JC Le Roux, Sunglass Hut and Havaiana, and we are really excited to be starting this service again.
