If these two look familiar – it’s because they won our #NiftyDogBox competition a while back. Pets Of Instagram are our favourite kind of blog post, so we decided to catch up with Henry and Charlie who are the proud owners of two Instagrammin’ humans, @francois_72 and @hayleym_. 1. When did you start Instagramming?
Henry: I started in February but Charlie only in March. Charlie is a month younger than me, which equates to 7 months in human terms. That`s a lot.
Charlie: No it`s not. I was still living with my biological mother and did not have wifi access.
2. What’s your best angle?
Henry: From the front. People need to see the patch over my right eye. That signifies my complex personality. Light and shade baby, light and shade.
Charlie: From the front and top. I have a spot on my head, which looks like a hamburger. Well it looks like a hamburger to me in any case. I like food. A lot.
3. What are your favourite apps?
Henry: Instagram OF COURSE. I also like VSCOCAM and the Nike+ running app. I kid I kid! #comedian
Charlie: I like Instagram and the Jamie Oliver cooking app.
4. What Instagram filter most accentuates your good looks?
Henry: Definitely Rise
Charlie: I`m really photogenic, so the filter doesn`t matter.
5. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Henry: Puppy Classes. I love puppy classes cos there are tons of biscuits.
Charlie: Puppy Classes because biscuits. That is all. Oh and a play date with my sister Fergie.
6. What is your greatest fear?
Henry: That my Mum will refuse me access to Dad`s couch.
Charlie: That the Hills Pet Food Plant burns down. *shivers*
7. Which living person do you most admire?
Henry: Jacques Henry Kallis, the greatest cricketer to ever walk this planet. I`m named after him you know… #proud
Charlie: Our trainer Lizelle. She has taught me some amazing tricks that bring biscuits my way. Sit, stay, down (ok down is a bit tough), find, focus. Name it I can do it. #clever
8. What is your greatest extravagance?
Henry: We have about 8 beds throughout the house, patio, doghouse and wendy house. Then we have our very own heater.
Charlie: Ja, the beds but also drywors. Dad gives us lots of drywors. So mine is drywors by the fireplace.
9. What is your current state of mind?
Henry: It is now 14:24, I am chilling in the sun cos Mum and Dad are at work. I am quite excited for them to come home.
Charlie: It is now 14:25. I am also chilling in the sun listening to my tummy rumbling, quite peckish….
10. What do you most dislike about your appearance?
Henry: Absolutely nothing.
Charlie: Absolutely nothing. Ok, if I`m honest I may or may not be carrying a kg or 2 too much. I weigh more than Henry.
11. What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Henry: Mum and Dad and peanut butter
Charlie: Mum and Dad, drywors and peanut butter
12. When and where were you happiest?
Henry: In front of the fireplace. Bliss.
Charlie: On Dad`s couch, with drywors in my mouth.
13. Which talent would you most like to have?
Henry: I would love to speak Spanish so I could phone Caesar Milan and converse in his own language.
Charlie: I would love opposable thumbs so I could open the grocery cupboard.
14. What is your most treasured possession?
15. What is your greatest regret?
Henry: Not meeting our uncle Elvis. He passed away on the 13th November 2013, just more than a month before I was born.
Charlie: I agree, not meeting our Uncle Elvis. Dad tells us the most amazing stories of him.
